Shakira and Gerard Piqué are, literally, jumping for joy! On Jan. 29, the Colombian singer shared a cute video on Instagram of herself and her beau leaping up and down on a trampoline while singing her hit single “Me Enamoré,” which chronicles how the pair met and fell in love. “Celebrating the Grammy,” she captioned the video, referring to her record El Dorado winning a trophy for best Latin Pop Album at the music award ceremony last Sunday. The Spanish soccer star, 30, also has a lot to celebrate this month after renewing his contract with his FC Barcelona team through 2022.
Shak’s big win is an especially sweet victory after the health crisis she endured last year. The singer had to postpone her El Dorado World Tour after suffering a hemorrhage on her right vocal cord. “In all the years I’ve been singing, I’ve never been faced with situation like this,” she said in a statement at the time, thanking her fans for their loyalty.
Even though the superstar wasn’t able to accept her Grammy in person at the Madison Square Gardens venue, she posted her acceptance speech on social media on Jan. 28, expressing gratitude toward her fans. “Wow, I just heard that we won the Best Latin Pop Album of the year and this is unbelievable. Thank you so much for your support in this album and my entire career,” she said.
The mom of sons Milan, 5, and Sasha, 3, with longtime love Piqué then posted the cute video of herself and her boyfriend getting frisky on a trampoline, which garnered more than 2 million views in a few days.
The singer’s hot new music video “Trap” with fellow Colombian artist Maluma has already amassed 24 million views since its release on Jan. 26, She’s got lots of reasons to jump for joy.
